If the app is installed for everyone, do I pay for all domain users or just the ones using shared contacts?

You only pay for the number of licenses you buy. The minimum number of licenses should match the number of people who will actually use shared contacts. However, the person managing the subscription also needs a license, even if they don’t use shared contacts themselves.

Example: If your domain has 20 users and only 8 need access to shared contacts (including the subscription manager), then you need 8 licenses. But if the subscription manager is not one of those 8 users, you’ll need 1 extra license for them, making it 9 in total.

We recommend installing the app for the entire domain. This way, everyone already has it, and if new people need access later, you won’t have to install it for them one by one.
